The Charpy impact
and Izod tests are standardized material tests. The specimen is broken by the impact of a heavy pendulum
hammer. Tests are performed
according to ASTM D256, ASTM A327, and ASTM A370, measuring the energy absorbed by
a material specimen, indicating the material's
level of toughness. We can perform the tests on any
material and at any temperature specified by the client.
